Fly the skies of South America  with this series of Flights. The series covers flights in Latin America Since 1925 to Today. In these Episodes you will fly in the common bad weather of the Andes and land in great modern airports, but be prepared for small airfields in the Jungles too!!!!....


EPISODE 1 ..."From Quito Ecuador to Guayaquil"

Try to keep the "Flavor" of this old lady which flew all over South America for many years carrying all kinds of freight and passengers.--- "Sur America Cargo Ltd is taking heavy machine parts to Guayaquil with one stop. The best part of this flight is that new pilots will be able to criscross the "Andes" Mountain range at at least 21,000 ft. The range is one of the most beautiful of the world....Takeoff starts at the Company´s office and warehouse in Quito, one of the highest cities in the world at middle afternoon and arrives in Guayaquil, by the river, in late evening." " CARGO RUN FROM Panama City to Bucaramanga "
------The Coast Route of Colombia------
Panama City, February 1959

AIRCRAFT: DC6a....
This flight will leave Panama City very early in the morning making its first stop in Cartagena, Colombia.
The flight starts at Tocument Airport at 5:30 AM with a full aircraft of Chiquita Bannanas as well as Pineapples and Melons. Sometimes the captain will take his wife but not on this trip since the weather is not the best and the plane is quite full. After Cartagena the flight goes on to Barranquilla, where more cargo will be taken and then on to the nearby Santa Marta. After some coffee and chacala cookies on you go to Maracaibo ,Venezuela. Lunch for your Co-pilot, Miss Zeri Borsilla and yourself will be served here at the company´s lunch room. You then take off to your final destination
which is Bucaramanga Colombia.....

BONUS FLIGHT!!!!!....Since its a freeday tomorrow, you can take a Cessna or whatever is available for rent at the airport and fly out to a very strange place called.."Cerro Macabro"where many years ago a lost civilization was found that had an all woman government and the men were treated as pets!!!!!....Zeri, your co-pilot is very interested in checking this novelty out...No map is available but, Señor. Berginos, a local pilot has given you these directions to find the old airfield
where the original expedition had its sitting back in 48……….

GERMAN GUERRERO´S LEAVE 


German Guerrero (RIP) was a great friend a gentleman and an Officer of th Peruvian Army back in the 40s. He used to tell me great stories of his years in the army posts of the Peruvian Amazonas. He would tell some that were "outrageously funny" and some very serious and becoming. My good friend has gone now but I always remember him with a smile in my face. This "Flight Adventure" is one of those flights he used to take to return to Lima and see his wife. It usually was made in a "Catalina", so it is the appropiate aircraft for it. You can use (pby5ah66.zip) by Mike Stone. I have added a Peruvian Air Force Texture for it together with the Flight.....Hope you enjoy it. Its a long flight, like it used to be.......

 The Lost Temple Of Zummanbarah.....
 Professor Brat Zannfried of the U. of Krakow has discovered the Temple of the "Giants" and with his team is digging the remains of the incredible lost civilization of men that wore shoes size 19.99 and had seven fingers! An airfield has been chopped out of the jungle very near the colossal find for supplies to be brought in. He is sure that whoever comes here will be very much surprised. Getting there is no joke! And pilots are required to be masters in the art of reading maps and flying by pilotage... are you one of those?.......

The Ruins Of Tikam-Ulkam....
 The Ruins of Tikam-Ulkam were found by Dr. Antonino Bitti only a decade ago in Guatemala near the border of Belize. These Mayan temples are unique in that some of the rocks they are made off produce a "glow" at dusk and all through the night. Many scientists asure the scientific world that this is a great mystery of science since the rocks are of very unusual izotronic structure. Dr. Bitti, is sure that these rocks are not of this planet(!) making the old temples a mystery that many do not talk about too much. Could it be one of the places the so called "Gods from Beyond" came to construct in this planet? Well here is your chance to fly out to it and see for yourself. Please note that the airfield is very dangerous since it was hacked out of the jungle for small aircraft, fly around the ruins and plan your landing very carefully. (Dusk flights are most interesting).
